Rip Curl Planet
The Rip Curl Planet was launched in 2008 in partnership with the WWF to increase Rip Curl's support of environmental projects. The main focus is the preservation preservation of surf spots, but we have also fund educational and eco-design projects. Rip Curl Planet has given over $US574,205 to environmental groups.

Sustainable management program for the Rangiroa lagoons - the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) is going to implement a dynamic coordination with the representatives of all socio-professional categories, associations and the municipality, to collect opinions, establish maps of the space issues at stake, propose rules of management, etc.
Surfrider Foundation Europe
$US54,000. Continuation of Surfrider’s water quality campaign in the Spanish Basque Country focus on the world class spot , Mundaka. To make up for far-from-stringent water quality watch requirements from the European Union, the Surfrider Foundation set up labs to conduct its own water sample analysis, all year long in recreational waters. The C.O.D.E., France
$US2500. The C.O.D.E. is a free publication widely distributed in the South-West of France where hundreds of thousand people come enjoy the beaches every summer. It aims at informing and educating about this amazing environment.

$US36,000. Campaign against the invasion of spiny starfish devastating coral reefs in French Polynesia. Reef Check has been protecting designated areas by killing the starfish with a specific biodegradable lethal product.

$US31,000. Clean Shaper is a group a French shapers working at improving work conditions and techniques used to make surfboards. This specific project was around the development of eco-friendly resins.
Surfers Against Sewage, UK
$US18,000. SAS, the leading environmental group based in South-West England, hired 17 reps in 2009 who take SAS campaigns to every corner of the UK.
